Hi there, thanks for ordering SniperSkin and sending in your feedback.
As we discussed over several emails, the product was not defective and did install properly as it was used for some time; enough to get quite dirty.
Also, as we mentioned, it is a durable and washable grip that can be retacked whenever needed to your player's preferred tacked. Just use mild soap (no alcohol) a non lint cloth to squeeze along the grip – no rubbing. And restore the tack throughout the season to your preference by using a bat grip spray like Rawlings 5150 instead of rewrapping your bat constantly.
Often times users can have issues with install if the water is not 212F, confirmed with a thermometer to ensure a great fit. When poured to another container, there can be a lot of heat loss and not work on the first try which is why we recommend the electric kettle or the heat gun in the instructions.
Great product! Super fast production & shipping.

Not sure if we applied it wrong, but we used a heat gun. The skin had almost a sand paper feel and was destroying my son’s batting gloves that cost significantly more than the skin, so we cut it off.
Hi there, thank you for your feedback from your purchase 8 months ago. It's unfortunate that you cut it off before contacting us, as unlike other bat wraps or many other grips, you can clean this grip and reduce the tack/grit to your preference. As you can imagine, players preferences vary which is why by using mild soap (no alcohol) and a non lint cloth to squeeze along the grip – no rubbing, you can get the desired tack you like.
These grips can last a long time so you can apply additional tack afterwards throughout the season if interested, using a bat grip spray like Rawlings 5150 to your preference. Customer service will contact you with additional information.
It’s an amazing looking grip! I just have concerns. I thought it would stay tacky longer.
Hi there. These grips can last a long time, and tack preference varies by player, so you can apply additional tack whenever needed using a bat grip spray, no need to rewrap your bat constantly throughout the season.
