Sniper Skin is a custom fit grip that replaces your need to constantly rewrap your bat. Our bat grips are lightweight, and easy to install. Customize the look and feel of your grip, then install it in seconds with 212 F boiling water or a heat gun!
All orders include engineered, vibration dampening foam strips to reduce the sting and enhance your swing. Our bats grips also have extra tack for improved control.

Bat Grips are 11" (290mm) long, and 1.25mm thick when installed with VDF strip, or 0.5mm thick without strips.
Fits bats up to 2” (50mm) knob diameter, and as small as 0.70” (17mm) diameter handle (some short barrel and t-ball bats may not work – check smallest diameter on handle in grip area).
Can be installed over or above the knob, and on top of existing bat grips.

Tack can be restored when faded with grip spray such as Rawlings 5150 or similar product, providing a grip that can last all season long.

The installation process requires 212°F (100°C) boiling water, or a heat gun to ensure correct fit. High elevation areas must use a heat gun.
STEP 1: CHOOSE GRIP CUSHION SET-UP
Option 1: Install Sniper Skin over existing grip
Option 2: Remove existing grip and install Vibration Dampening Foam (VDF).
STEP 2: POSITION ON SHAFT
STEP 3: FORM GRIP
Use at least a 1.5L electric kettle (water must be rapidly boiling with a temperature above 100°C/212°F) or a 1500W heat gun.

The stickiness wore off after 3 months.
Great news, because these grips can last a long time, you just need to add a bat grip spray whenever needed to apply additional tack to your preference. Everyone has different preferences especially if they wear batting gloves or not. So many customers love that the grip doesn't unravel or wear out quickly, and they can wash it and add tack to get the whole season out of it sometimes. To clean this grip, use mild soap (no alcohol) and use a non lint cloth to squeeze along the grip – no rubbing. Add your favourite bat grip spray like Rawlings 5150 to your preference. Thanks.
Somewhat difficult to get fit snug on the bat. Took boiling water & a heavy duty heat gun… for quite awhile, not overly impressed

This grip just needs more heat. Can you please use 212F boiling water – at least 1.5 L (confirmed with a kitchen thermometer as sometimes people use a pot of water that looks boiling, but it isn’t 212 F yet which is what is required to shrink properly)

If you have access to a heat gun, this will finish up super quick as well. If you are in a high altitude state where water boils before 212F, a heat gun is recommended.

It was harder to put on than expected. Had to throw it out.
So sorry you cut it off before contacting us as we normally can trouble shoot with you to fix the install. The majority of the time it is easily corrected by using the boiling water at 212F and standing the grip up in the sink with the knob down as per the install video and instruction in your package. Or, a heat gun can also easily complete the install. These grips last much longer than other bat wraps, are fully customizable and because they are water proof, can be cleaned and re-tacked as needed throughout the season.
