Shipping & Delivery

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping rates are determined by product weight and destination. Rates are calculated at checkout based on the products ordered and the shipping location.

How long does shipping take and where do you ship?

Shipping times vary by region and service selected.

Please note that personalized grips, accessories, and customized products require at least 3 to 5 business days to ship. Other products can take up to 3 business days to ship. Delivery timing for team orders and fundraisers is discussed at the time of order.

Canadian Shipping:

Allow up to 15 business days for tracked shipping, depending on the service selected. Free Expedited shipping is available for orders over $69.95.

US Shipping:

PO boxes will ship through USPS or Canada Post. Some remote areas may also ship through USPS or Canada Post. DHL options are also available. Free Expedited shipping is available for orders over $69.95.

European Shipping:

Canada Post offers various options at checkout. Shipping times vary by location. Tracking information is available, and DHL or UPS options may also be available.

Additional Shipping Notes:

Many carriers have suspended guaranteed delivery dates, and refunds will not be given for delayed delivery. During holiday volume, average delivery times may vary by location.

What should I know about international shipping, customs, duties, and incorrect addresses?

For orders shipping outside of Canada, all customs, duties, taxes, surcharges, brokerages, and related fees are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are separate from shipping fees and may be billed by your local mail authority when delivery is attempted.

Please review your country’s import rules before ordering. This also applies to returns, and shipping charges, customs charges, duties, taxes, and related import costs are not refundable.

If an order is shipped to an incorrect address, it may take 30 to 45 additional days to be returned. Once returned, it can be shipped back out, and additional shipping charges may apply. International returns for incorrect addresses can take even longer.

Installation & Troubleshooting

How do I install a Sniper Skin grip properly?

Sniper Skin grips are designed to be installed using 212°F (100°C) boiling water or a 1500-watt heat gun.

For correct installation:

  • Use boiling water or a proper heat gun
  • Do not use a hair dryer
  • Do not use hot tap water, ovens, or open flames
  • High elevation areas should use a heat gun
  • It is possible to overheat the grips, so care is required

What should I do if my grip feels loose, has bubbles, or did not fully shrink?

If your Sniper Skin grip feels too loose, has an air bubble, or did not fully shrink, it likely did not receive enough heat during installation.

For best results:

  • Make sure the water is over 212°F (100°C)
  • Use a kitchen thermometer to confirm temperature
  • Use at least a 1.5 L electric kettle or a 1500-watt heat gun
  • You may need more than one kettle or pot of water for longer grips
  • Pour water evenly from top to bottom
  • Installing in the sink with water pouring into the grip and down the shaft is often most effective

Important:

Please do not cut the grip off, as customer service cannot help after the product has been damaged.

Support Note:

If you purchased online and are having trouble, take a picture of the issue and email customerservice@sniperskin.ca so the team can review it with you.

Grip Care & Lifespan

How long do Sniper Skin grips last?

Grip lifespan depends on how the product is used and cared for. A Sniper Skin grip may last a regular season of play, and in some cases can exceed the life of the stick.

What can damage a Sniper Skin grip?

Sharp edges such as skate blades, or rough surfaces such as concrete, gravel, and asphalt, can damage the grip. Graphics and monogramming may also fade with natural wear and tear.

How do I clean and maintain my Sniper Skin grip?

Sniper Skin grips are waterproof and can be cleaned. Use mild soap, no alcohol, and a non-lint cloth to squeeze along the grip without rubbing.

If you need more tack, a grip spray such as Rawlings 5150 Bat Spray may help refresh tack and extend grip life. If additional tack is needed later, grip spray such as Rawlings 5150 can be applied to preference.

Are Sniper Skin grips reusable or recyclable?

Sniper Skin grips are custom fit to the player’s preferred profile and lock in place, so they are generally not reusable.

Exceptions and Related Products:

  • Extreme Grip Wraps are reusable when carefully removed and transferred
  • A 1-piece sleeve installed completely on an extension for hockey or lacrosse may allow the extension to be moved to a new stick

Recycling Note:

Sniper Skin grips are made from a recyclable material. Refer to local recycling regulations for proper disposal.

Warranty, Returns & Exchanges

Can products be returned, exchanged, or replaced?

All products are covered under a 30-day warranty for material defects under normal use.

Within 30 days of purchase, non-personalized products can be returned for a refund or exchanged if they are in the same condition and original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Personalized items may not be returned or exchanged.

Please review the returns and warranty policy for more information.
